For his project "Do you look like your dog?", Gerrard Gethings photographed... Dogs and people who have a great resemblance. The result is now a memo game. We show his most beautiful shots
Benji and Harper (Snoodle)
Benji and Schnoodle Harper, a cross between a schnauzer and a poodle, are one of 25 human-dog pairs that London-based photographer Gerrard Gethings captured on camera for his photo series
Jessica and Buddy
However, photographer Gerrard Gethings put people and animals together himself, like Jessica and Bichon Frisé Buddy. So the people photographed are not the real owners of these animals at all
Harry and Hattie
After Gethings photographed the dogs, he looked for human "lookalikes," often simply approaching them on the street. In doing so, he liked to preface the conversation with a compliment - this proved to be very helpful, according to the photographer. Shown here: Harry and Spinone Italiano Hattie
Amelia and Artemis
Amelia had herself photographed as a double of poodle Artemis. Gethings himself has also noticed a certain resemblance to his Border Terrier Baxter
François and Antoine
When taking pictures, Gethings paid attention to the smallest detail: François and the French bulldog Antoine not only have a similar look, but both also have a white spot on the neck
The game for the photo gallery
The game "Do you look like your dog?" includes a total of 50 playing cards plus booklet and was released by the Laurence King. Price: about 16 euros
