1. Introduction

Math Duel respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application handles, how it is used, and how users can delete locally stored information.

Math Duel is an educational mathematics game designed for two players using the same device. The application does not require users to create an account or sign in.

2. Information stored on the device

The application may store the following information locally on the user’s device:

  • Player names or nicknames entered during a game.
  • Game preferences, including difficulty level, operation types, number of rounds, answer duration, sound settings, and scoring options.
  • Match history, including scores, correct and incorrect answers, response times, match dates, and the winner’s name.

This information is used only to operate the application, restore saved settings, and display previous match results.

The information is stored in the application’s local storage and is not intentionally sent to a server controlled by the developer.

Users, especially children, should use nicknames or first names only and should not enter full names or other personal information.

3. Information we do not intentionally collect

Math Duel does not intentionally collect:

  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Postal addresses
  • Precise location
  • Contacts
  • Photos or files
  • Camera or microphone data
  • Financial information
  • Login credentials

The application does not provide user accounts, online chat, or communication between users.

4. Advertising and analytics

The current version of Math Duel does not display third-party advertising and does not intentionally use analytics services to track user behaviour.

If advertising, analytics, online services, or additional third-party SDKs are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

5. Third-party services

The application is distributed through Google Play and may include Google services required for application security, compatibility, diagnostics, or distribution.

Google and other service providers may process limited technical information, such as device information, application version, crash information, or security-related data, according to their own privacy policies.

The developer does not sell users’ personal information.

6. Android backup and device transfer

Depending on the user’s Android device and Google account settings, Android backup or device-transfer services may include locally stored application data.

These services are managed by the user and the operating-system provider. The developer does not have direct access to the user’s device backups.

7. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored game information remains on the device until the user:

  • Deletes match history from within the application, where this option is available.
  • Clears the application’s storage through Android settings.
  • Uninstalls the application.

Because Math Duel does not provide user accounts, there is no account information stored on the developer’s servers.

8. Children’s privacy

Math Duel is an educational game that may be used by children under the supervision of a parent, teacher, or guardian.

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Children should be encouraged to use nicknames and avoid entering full names or other identifying information.

If a parent or guardian believes that personal information has been provided through the application, they may contact the developer using the email address below.

9. Data security

Math Duel relies on Android’s application storage and security protections. Reasonable measures are used to protect locally stored information, but no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application’s features, third-party services, or data-handling practices change.

The updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this policy.
